In this text I want to explore the topic of porn or erotic or adult content. I will try to explain why men like porn a lot, why women do not like it (or better say why women do not like when their men like porn)

First of all let’s define what “porn” is: in context of this text we will mean “pictures and videos of mostly naked men and women having sex”.

Now when we have definition lets map why porn is considered to be “bad”. The main reason which will be brought by anti-porn people is: “watching porn will lead to sexual violence in real life”. Strangely enough those people will not show you any statistically proven studies. And for sure they will say nothing about observations where negative correlation between watching porn and amount of sexual violence.

Let me prove you that actually “liking porn” is in men genes. The ones who did not like it are extinct for many 100s of years. This is not a joke. Seriously speaking we need to consider such called “mating strategies of humans”. Assume a man was born with a strange mutation of having a “cure cancer” gene. Should this man be a faithful husband? How many children his wife can give birth to? 5-10? May be on contrary he should try to pass this gene to as many women as he can? :Let’s say 5 women per day, 365 days per year 20 years? Now we have different numbers: 6500 vs 10. Actually it will be his duty for a human race to perform such service!

Resume men: male mating strategy: as many women as he can!

Now let’s consider a woman with strange “cure cancer” gene. Will it help if she will go sleep around? Or course not! She will get more children by sleeping with many men. Even worse, by doing that she could get sexually transmitted disease and die. Totally different game: she should be careful. She should pick the man that will provide for her and her babies. But also she still must be pretty for other men, in case her husband dies and there will be no breadwinner than she will need to find a new one.

Resume for women: female mating strategy: as many attention from men, but pick one which is capable to make children and provide for them on a long run.

That is our genes people! We programmed like this! So now back to porn: by watching it men satisfy their instinct of having many sexual partners. Men trick their low level brain to believe that all of it is real. The satisfied instincts make you happy.
When it comes to women they oppose to their men watching porn because this is threat to them. Their men can satisfy needs without women. This is totally not good to low level program of women. But funny enough: studies show that even religious Christian women watch sexually explicit material, not publicly, of course.
